JetX is a fast crash game. A round can end before you collect, and another betting window appears soon afterward. That pace can make it easy to spend more than you intended.
This page explains how to set limits, recognise when gambling is becoming harmful and find help in Kenya. Jetx.or.ke is an information website. The gambling operator that holds your account controls its deposit limits, account restrictions and self-exclusion tools.
Decide what you can spend before playing
Treat gambling as an entertainment expense. Use money you can afford to lose after paying for essentials such as food, rent, transport and school costs. Do not borrow to play or plan to cover a bill with a possible win.
Choose a spending limit and a stopping time before opening the game. Count the total cost of repeated rounds. For example, a KSh 100 stake across 20 rounds puts KSh 2,000 in stakes through the game, even if each individual bet seems small. If you use more than one bet panel, add those stakes together.
When your planned amount is spent, stop. Depositing again to recover a loss changes the limit you set for yourself.
Know what the controls can do
Auto Cashout can collect at a target you choose if the flight reaches it. It cannot prevent a loss when the round ends earlier. Autoplay can repeat bets, which means it can also use your balance while you are paying less attention.
Before enabling either setting, check the stake, the number of active panels and how to stop repeated play. A low cash-out target, a betting system or a run of previous multipliers cannot guarantee a profitable session.
The demo can help you learn the buttons without spending KES. Its results do not establish how a real-money session will end.
Signs that it may be time to stop
Gambling may be causing harm if you:
- Spend money needed for ordinary living costs.
- Increase stakes or deposit again to chase a loss.
- Hide spending or borrowing from people close to you.
- Feel unable to stop when your limit is reached.
- Lose sleep, miss work or neglect relationships because of gambling.
- Feel anxious or distressed when you cannot play.
You do not need to wait for a financial crisis to ask for help. Taking a break now can be easier than trying to regain control after another session.
Pause, set limits or self-exclude
Open the responsible-gambling or account-settings area of the operator you use. Look for deposit limits, time-out options and self-exclusion. If you cannot find them, ask the operator’s verified support team to show you the process. Keep a record of your request.
Self-exclusion is a request to stop access to gambling services for a chosen period or permanently. Kenya’s gambling framework provides for exclusion measures through licensed operators and the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya. For the current process, visit the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya or contact the operator holding your account.
A review website cannot close an account that belongs to a casino. Send the request directly to that operator or seek guidance from the regulator if you have difficulty doing so.
Gambling support in Kenya
If gambling is affecting your finances, wellbeing or family, you can contact a local support service without making another bet:
- GamHelp Kenya provides information about counselling and support for people affected by gambling, including families.
- Responsible Gambling Kenya offers information about counselling, treatment and help for loved ones.
- The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya provides information about regulation and exclusion.
Check each organisation’s website for its current contact options and availability. If you feel at immediate risk of harming yourself, seek urgent help at the nearest hospital or contact Kenya Red Cross on its toll-free number, 1199.
If you are worried about someone else
Speak to them when neither of you is in the middle of a gambling session. Describe what you have noticed without blame. You can offer to help them find support or request exclusion from an operator.
Protect shared money and avoid lending funds for another bet. You can also contact a gambling-support organisation for guidance for yourself; help is available to family and friends as well as the person who gambles.
Adults only
Real-money gambling is for adults. Do not let a child use your gambling account, saved login or payment method. Sign out on shared devices and keep account and M-Pesa credentials private.
JetX can be understood without placing a real-money bet. If playing has stopped feeling like a choice, close the game and use one of the support routes above.
